Important Information for Clients

We place great importance on our clients’ privacy and confidentiality, with all fittings conducted in a calm, private setting to ensure a relaxed and personal experience.

Garment Preparation
Please ensure pre-loved, vintage or charity shop finds are washed or dry cleaned before work begins. Additional charges will apply if items require cleaning.

Fittings & Hem Adjustments
For fittings that involve hems, please bring the shoes you intend to wear (such as heels). Without the correct footwear, we will be unable to complete the fitting, and an additional appointment charge may apply.

Repairs & Specialist Fabrics
We are unable to accept moth-hole repairs or work on vintage/woollen garments unless they have been professionally dry cleaned beforehand.

Pricing

Our final pricing includes an initial consultation and fittings throughout , during which we review your garment in detail and discuss the best approach to achieve the perfect fit. This ensures your garment not only looks great but also feels comfortable and tailored to you. From, is an estimate cost for the work to be complete.

• Fittings & Consultations

  We offer consultations at £30 for a one-hour session, were we will review your garment(s) in detail and discuss all possible alterations to help you understand what can be achieved.

  If, during the fitting, it is decided that the alteration will not proceed for any reason, the consultation fee of £30 will apply.

  Late & Missed Appointment Policy

  Please note that late or missed appointments that requiring re-booking will incur an additional fee.

  We are a busy, fast-paced studio and are always happy to accommodate rescheduling, as we understand that life can be unpredictable. However, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment.

• Directions

We are based off of Argyle Street, The Hive which is set back from the main road. Between fences from Argyle Street , passed the subway carriages you will come to The Hive a white building.

Please use the door on the far right hand side of the building through the glass doors and 1st door on your right end of the corridor were you’ll find Finnieston Alterations- 1st floor Studio 6.

Please note there is no onsite parking, on street parking is available and access is via stairs only to the 1st floor.
